Just wanted to say hello:)
I see that y'all are keeping busy with many, many songs posted in the Showcase. I've listened to some of them and commented on some of them. Creativity abounds. The collaborations are wonderful!
I've written but one song this year. I've mostly been focused on my mixing skills and trying to make my past productions sound more professional...as work allows. Work is feast or famine lately and mixing tends to be hit or miss, but I think I'm learning what to listen for and how to do deal with trouble spots.
I had some BiaB 2015 issues. Think they're resolved, but I haven't used the program very much lately. As I said, was more into re-mixing my earlier recordings. I upgraded to an AKG C214 mic, and decided to splurge on a mic preamp, a Golden Age Project Pre73. Will it matter? I don't know, but it's fun to experiment in the studio.
I've played a few Street Jelly shows, and created a web page, and uploaded some YouTube videos. It gets to be a bit much.
