Is there a place to change the default settings for BIAB for the following parameters?
Number of bars per song
Number of choruses
I tend to make band demo's for my own material and need to have about 100 bars as a starting point with only one run through the song as I chart it all out in full.
I'd like to change these items to 100 & 1 respectively.

Yes. On BIAB 2015, what you want is called Start, End and Choruses. There are three boxes with these numbers about seven rows down, in the middle of the screen. Your numbers should be set to 1, 100, 1.
If you have a version of BIAB older than 2014, let us know. The location of these three boxes was a bit different.

Yes that is correct but...It comes up with 32 and 3 for bars and choruses...Those are the numbers I want to change to 100 and 1 to start a new song...
Can it be done?

If you mean changing these default values, then no. You could put a request in the Wishlist forum.

Matt is a pro user and 100% correct. The default you're looking for can't be set.
Alternatively, you could "Unfold" your project to make it one large chorus and manually populate the 100+1 bars with the proper values. You will have the freedom to design your composition any way you'd like that way.

What I would do is this.
Open Band-in-a-Box and make all the settings you wish (tempo, verses, # bars, favorite key, default style, etc).
Then just save that file somewhere easily accessible; call it something like Template.sgu. I would then go to Windows Explorer and make it Read-Only. You could even make multiple templates, if you have a handful of settings you like to use. Just name the file appropriately.
Make sure you have set Band-in-a-Box to associate files in Windows Explorer. Now, when you want to start a new song with those settings, just double click on that template file. It will load into BIAB with your preferred settings in place.
Now add your chords and any other changes. If you try to just "save", it will tell you the file is read-only (so you won't overwrite it), and you'll have to do a save-as.

John, using sgu files as templates is a sweet idea I've not previously seen mentioned in a forum thread. That would make a great addition to the Tips & Tricks section.
