The style files themselves can only reside in one of two places: either the main BIAB folder or a folder called Styles under the main folder. That is, assuming you installed to C:\BB, styles can go in

C:\BB
C:\BB\Styles

If you want to easily select your favorites, you can create a text file called, for example, "faves.ls3", which basically contains a list of your favorite styles. The format for creating an .ls3 file is in the help system and in the user manual. That one file can have multiple categories with your favorite styles listed under each category.

When you rebuild the style file, you will see your favorite styles categorized at the bottom of StylePicker.

In BIAB help, look up "LS3 Files" under the Index tab for help on LS3 files. ALso look for "Stylepicker Editor" for help on doing it from within BIAB.

I would start by creating the file within BIAB, but then edit it to add all the other styles. But take a look and just do whatever you feel comfortable with.
