RealTracks do not play "melodies." They only solo on the chords. You will need a MIDI guitar part if you want it to play the actual Melody. I suspect the best way to accomplish what you want is to expand the whole song form (as opposed to looping choruses) and enter (or cut and paste) the four bar melody fragment at the actual bar you want it to play. You can generate a partial solo by using the "Custom" option from the Soloist menu.
