I have a BIAB file with lots of measures in which chord settings have been adjusted (perhaps in the Chord Options dialog). I wish to reset them all to the default, and I want to do it with one command. I see that in a sister dialog Edit Bar Settings there is a box Rest All Bars. Is there something like that for the Chord Options dialog? I tried selecting all bars and then from the Chord Options dialog set everything to default, but it affected only the current bar.

Press F5 to open the "Bar Settings" dialog. At the extreme lower left are two buttons: "Reset Bar" and "Reset All Bars". The second one removes all the style and tempo and meter changes. Many arrangements from the internet have a ridiculous number of such things, so you can make them saner with that feature.
But if you're trying to remove shots and holds and rests, you are stuck doing it one chord at a time, as far as I know.

I don't think you'll find what you're after.
BIAB doesn't keep track of the "original" chords that were entered, if you entered them yourself,
so there's no way to set them back to a "default".
If BIAB created the chords in the first place, say from a MIDI file you loaded, then you could
simply start a new song with that MIDI file and have BIAB create them again.
Another option to explore is the Edit Menu's "Jazz Up" and "Jazz Down" the chords if that works in this case.
Possibly the best way would be (in hindsight of course <grin>), save the song before doing any mods with the
(say) Chord Options dialog, then make the changes and save with a new name.
The only other thing I can think of is, if you had the ACW generate the original chords from a wave file,
and then you changed them, you could start again with the original wave file.
Let us know if I've interpreted your problem incorrectly.
Someone wiser may be able to offer a better solution.

I think if you want to change all of your chords back to just the default chord (example: A... to just A) the quickest way I know of would be to use the Edit/Search and Replace chords.. menu option. You would have to do it for each chord variation, but at least only once per chord.

OK - Thanks for the insight - now I know. Seems to me the programmers could offer a button to set all chords (or chords of all selected measures) to the default - No push, no pedal bass, no rest. Off to the wish list.

There is a feature like this. It is called Edit- Copy Rests. So you find one chord that has the attributes that you want (no push, no rest), then highlight that chord, and Edit-Copy Rests to a big range.
I agree that a dedicated Erase all Chord Options would be good too.
