Hi, ol´friends !

Was planning on having a break but Floyd made me rethink and so I wrote this little love song dedicated to my ladyfriend Li

Will You Not Take My Hand

Soundcloud:

http://soundcloud.com/dani-lindroos/will-you-not-take-my-hand

Box:

http://app.box.com/s/ao5y69x2adguzsqkt3vz8ztkyn4fhond

Recorded and mixed with mixcraft 6, zoom H4n used as mic
Style: Guara32.STY Guaracha with 3-2 clave pattern

Instruments used:
Bass: 34
Piano: 1
Drums: 1 Standard Drums
Guitar: 25 nylon string guitar
Vibes: 12
Warm Pad: 1267

.....and the lyrics are:

WILL YOU NOT TAKE MY HAND (Dani 2015)

Will you not take my hand
I want to take you back to that sunny land
where the sun will always shine
every day, every night will be oh so fine

Now let´s go
back to the place where there´s seldom rain or snow
come, let´s go
back to the land where the good ol´palm trees grow

Let´s fly right out of sight
I want to take you there, where the sun shines bright
and you´ll love to be
in my caressing arms by the sunlit sea

Now let´s go
back to the place where there´s seldom rain or snow
come, let´s go
back to the land where the good ol´palm trees grow

Let´s fly right out of sight
I want to take you there, where the sun shines bright
Will you not take my hand
I want to take you back to that sunny land

Saludos
Dani

Well... in that case, I'll pat myself on the back!! if I convinced you to continue on, that's worth something!!!

Excellent mix. Ah... those smooth Dani vocals - PERFECT for this type song!! You were meant for the sun and sand and palm trees...

Such joy and love in this write! We've missed ya, buddy.

A joy to listen to.

Great picture! That says it all....

Well thank you mr jane for doing
us all a favor!

"Smooth" is back and we are
all the better for it.

Like floyd said "such joy and love
in this write" and it is delivered
wonderfully with the vocal and
the mix.

We enjoyed it!

This is a good one Dani. You've chosen just the right style for the song and your vocals are spot on.

Enjoyed my listen and glad to see you here on the forum again.

Dani,

Yay! It's really good to see you back. There is no other Finnish crooner like you in the whole wide world smile

Who can go wrong with sun, sand, palms and vibes? This was a very pleasant journey. As I listened with my eyes closed, it was so very easy to picture myself on some sleepy South Pacific island.

All the best,
Noel

Yay, it is nicer to see and hear that
you, my ol´friend, are going strong at the height of your
songwriting and performing ability !:))

Now, my good friend,I feel humbled by your more than
kind assessment ! Don´t know about the crooners over here
but my friends used to call me el Cliff (Richard) del Pais
Finlandes and that was a long time ago (over 5o years to
be exact)! Grossly exaggerated statements, but back then
it sounded nice :)) I have not overused my voice so I guess
it is possible to keep on singing fairly well far into
senior years ! It is important though that one keeps on
singing and I do sing regularly with my barbershop friends !
Thank you Noel:))

Cheers
Dani

Dani,

Really good to see you back! I've been out for a while, myself. I really like the feel on this one. Nice, relaxing love song. Good job on the mix.

Hi Dani,

As always a very romantic song in your very recognizable style. We think you're doing your best vocals here, so far.

Wonderful vocals (as usual). And like others mention, great choice of backing for the sun and sand and Palms. I am sensing Jamaica here. smile
