Secondly how is MS going to make its money? Level of adoption by the market is an important factor. Plus, it lowers their cost of supporting people on Windows 7 and 8, and makes it easier for people to purchase software that only runs on the latest version of Windows.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
