When the video content is paramount this is hard to do.

When you can change video scenes to make a montage you get lots of freedom. The opposite almost requires that the song be written for the scene.

Before I retired I did a hazmat video for the Fire Department and used The Planets (Jupiter) by Holst, that was for a 2 minute intro, using some video and some still shots that panned, and it a huge hit. When the music hit one of the many dramtic turns the scene change, pretty cool. Of course we had a 30,000$ video system I bought when the department forced the training department to drop 2 positions, I argued and won that we needed to replace the people with technology, and got 50k over 2 years...worked out well actually. Technology was easier to handle than the people who left...
