Yeah, iPhones and WiFi can be problematic. Sometimes they will just work with no problems at all, others you need to fiddle with the Access Point settings for ages to get the right combo - and even then it's unpredictable. I forget the particular setting that's the biggest problem.

Also, iOS 8 is very buggy WRT WiFi...
