Hi,
I have a song where the synth pad comes in at the last verse. I plays properly during BIAB playback. When I render a wav file of the song, however, the synth pad plays from start to finish. Previous wav files of this song were fine. How can I correct his?

Gone coastal, That's unusual. Did you install anything or update anything recently? Is the rendering occurring on the same computer? Also, is it exactly the same file that was working properly one minute and then not the next? Lastly, when BIAB does anything that's not usual behaviour, I always return to the original factory settings (found under the Opt. menu). If you have a later version of BIAB select the upper option as this will keep your audio/midi drive setup intact. Regards, Noel

Hi Noel,
Recently switched to McAfee from Norton.
Yes, I'm on the same computer.
Same BIAB file with with volume changes on lead guitar.
Will still try to figure it out before switching back to factory settings.

All the files I render do the same thing....start to finish.
I move them to my Sonar DAW and use envelopes to bring things in and out.
By having the full wave, you can copy and paste if, for example, the part you want in the 3rd verse doesn't sound very good, but the one in the 2nd verse does.... a simple copy and paste and you're golden.
For me, BiaB is simply the writing tool and arranging tool. Real Band renders the tracks as waves.... and the Sonar DAW is where is all comes together as a fully produced song.
