You are right, there are many interesting
contributions. And many have very good sounds (including
subsonics).

No, it wasn't. There were some different songs smuggled in.

No, I just took it as it was.

It's a soprano sax and of course has a smaller body. I like it a lot sice Sting used it in some of his songs. I found the tune so fitting. Now you have to bite the bullet.
