Mus, With the blacked out problem, try the following. Enter into Preferences and then select "Colors".  From the dropdown box under "Color Scheme", select "Default". It might be that you need to click on one of the other schemes and then click back on default. Given the guitar problem in conjunction with the colour issue, it might be worthwhile utilising the "Return to factory settings" option found under the "Opt." menu. If you have BIAB 2015 or 2015, select the "Most" option as this will retain your audio/midi setup. (Also, with recent versions of BIAB it's possible to save your present setup. I suggest doing that before returning to factory defaults.) I always find that when BIAB stops doing what it used to, the reset is a good starting place in trying to solve the problem. Regards, Noel
