Do what you want for whatever reason you choose to do it. (At the end of the day that is what we all do anyway.) And if you change your mind, for whatever reason and at any time, then that is just fine. "Selling out" is just someone else crying sour grapes as they try to hold you to some standard they imagine is universal and meaningful!
