Shut the computer completely off. Do a cold boot and then reopen the BB program and load the song.

This should take you back to the last version you saved properly.


AT times I have to do this because as you mentioned, things get all twisted around from some sort of internal digital glitch. When that happens, I shut down and restart. 98% of the time that fixes the issue. The other 2%...well, you just start over and rebuild the project vowing to save it more often "this time".


edit: I try not to cry over the spilled milk as the saying goes. I look at it this way...even with my guitar playing and vocal takes, when recording solo's and other tracks. If I did it once, I can do it a second or third time, and I can do it better this time than I did the first time..... so I really don't sweat the lost tracks and accidentally deleted stuff and the glitches that cause the whole project to disappear into the vapors that are the digital realm.
