Yes.

You didn't happen to install PTPA under the "Program Files (x86)" folder, did you?

No. The program was working fine until last week.

You might also try setting the program to "run as administrator".

Things got wierder when I did that. I started getting an error message (yellow upper-right corner banner) that FP32.EXE was an older version. I deleted that file from the PT directory, reinstalled, but I still get the message---and now SaveAs no longer remembers the last directory accessed.


Perhaps rights changed for your temp folder. Maybe try changing the specified temp folder?

I've been using PowerTracks for about a decade now. This is just bizarre. The most recent Windows update I did was Adobe Flash (of course, all programs were closed for that).

I do appreciate the responses, especially from some of the heaviest hitters on this forum. Sorry about the lag on my part---gigs, work and life.
