On the app, when saved externally, I think all audio is converted to mp4 and becomes static. Without BiaB server, generating becomes a barrier. At least that's how I understand it. Why use it? Does your MP3 player show chords? Linking to fakebook means using only fakebook songs in fakebook arrangement. I like to use the app to control recording and practicing. It's handy to be able to stop, rewind, and re-record .. without having to move out from behind a mic, or take the bass off, or get out from behind a drum set, etc. to go start the song over and run back in time to be ready.  ^^^^ This!!
