That is clear, we need a better way to quickly access to patch changes during gigs.
I already asked for that in the BIAB forum in sep 2013. At this time, it was said :"You have to enter your patch changes via F5 key". That was of course not satisfactory.

We can also imagine, to access quickly to patch changes by using the num pad of the keyboard.
It would be user defined, and so, for example, we can assign Piano patch to key "7", E.Guitar to key "8", and so on. So, we would have to hit only one key to change the patch. It is possible because some music software does it and it works fine. Furthermore, in this software we can define a patch preset file which is save within the song. So when you call back your song, it remembers also you patch preset file. It a very useful feature for live performance.

Changing patch during a gig is a must of the art of arrangement. Too many times in BIAB songs or others, we hear the same boring patch playing the melody during the whole song.

Of course, we need also to access to higher banks patches not only basic GM patches. Remember, at present time, favorite patches can access only to the GM patches. It is in the wishlist since two years...
