Hi All,
Based on my initial forum question yesterday about compatibility of BIAB 2009 with RealTek soundcard, just by way of an experiment,I tried to install BIAB 2007 on my Vista laptop,I also have this running quite happily on my XP DAW desktop.

The auto-run on the DVD drive sees the disc and files immediately, however when I run the setup.exe, the PC then hangs for
around 5-10 minutes, then returns a checksum error message.

I don't know if the installation disc is intended to cover both XP and Vista OS,the manual would suggest this to be the case.

Has anyone encountered this problem before? All other software/audio discs load quite normally,so I can't see this being a hardware fault.I'm a bit concerned, given my imminent purchase of BIAB 2009,that I may end up in the same situation.

Any help welcome.
