Here's a little song from the 50/90 challenge. Koura are native NZ freshwater crayfish. Comments and ideas welcome. You pack a lot into your lyric. A simple observation always seems to have a big undercurrent. And it gets better all the time. There is a lot to this.

I just really liked the lyrics and it was sort of John Prine sounding. I still do some of his songs.
We got crayfish in Texas and I ate a ton of them when I was a kid but the ones you got are huge!!

I would love to visit New Zealand, never got the chance yet. Bout as close as I got was this girl from New Zealand one night in Holland...but nuff said bout that...lol

Your songs always seem to have a little sideways element to them that gives them a very distinct voice, and it's always interesting to listen to them.
