Hi,
Being new to BIAB, I'm still learning a tonne of stuff every time I open the program. Last night I downloaded the Ventures song "Walk don't Run;" remember that? I used ACW to do it, and deleted the audio track. Then I entered a melody with Melodist, choosing New Age, with intention of changing the instrument. I right clicked on Melody, and changed to Tenor Sax RealTrack, Motown. I set the tempo at 120, and right clicked on drums, and went to Tachno Realdrums and began experimenting. What makes it so interesting is that each Techno RealDrum style has options to use over 20 different styles in your song automatically, just make sure you have selected lots of part markers in the song. I tried Random first and was really impressed with what it can do. Try the 2 top choices to build energy gradually in the song, it's a blast. Another instrument that fits nicely in this experiment is the B3 Organ RealTracks. I also tried Embellisher, and Harmonize, it works great.
