I am not certain at tall that it could turn out this way, in fact from past experience I would probably think that it might only leave an option to boot into windows 10 as 10 will overwrite the MBR.

Your windows 7 will still be there in that partition but you won't be able to boot into it more than likely.

In a case like this I use EasyBCD to rewrite the boot configuration and fix the MBR to boot into windows 7.

Maybe it will turn out as you say but I would be prepared for the above as well.
