I was a "sort of beta" tester - I installed win 10 Tech Preview, played with it, and since some things were still "hincky" and I couldn't load all my HW drivers and some older SW (yet) without glitches (yes reported back to MS) _ I quit playing with it (it was tri-booted with WIN 7 and XP) - I wiped that HDD yesterday - to get ready for commercial OEM version of Win(d)X Pro - but I will wait at least 6 months or more.

However, this is a heads up for all you Win 7 and Win 8 HOME users doing the FREE upgrade - there is one IMPORTANT difference between Win 10 HOME and Win 10 PRO - remember if you have Win 7 or 8 Home - you only get the free Win 10 Home. If you want Win 10 Pro you need to spend a few dollars/euros/DM's/Yen whatever.

Win 10 HOME users will have no control over MS pushed updates! Win 10 Pro users have more control over what and when.

While this might NEVER be an issue - it could be depending on your HW and SW - I'm sure you all remember at least one or two not so good Win XP, Vista, 7, and 8 updates that had to be panic patched by yet more updates.
