My kudos go not only to the performers themselves, who deserve same for their obvious dedication to practice of the art, but to the Arranger of this one as well as the Director, who may well be one and the same, don't know. But the level to which this group has aspired -- and achieved -- is high in my opinion.

If you've never done it, take my word for it, putting yourself in the position of Director of such an endeavor takes a lot of dedication in so many different aspects that successfully pulling off a performance of this nature is indeed worthy of congratulation.

My wife has been in a number of choirs over the years and I have seen a number of different directors. I was only in a choir in high school. In addition to dedication, I've seen some directors who had great abilities to motivate their choir members to achieve beyond "normal" abilities. Every once in awhile you come across someone like that and teachers as well. That is a very special talent, IMHO, that not too many folks are blessed with. OTOH, I know a choir director with a doctorate in music who is also a very talented arranger. I have played some of his music with his choir. However, a number of singers I know will not be in his choir because they say he's a jerk. I have to say he was nice to me and the other trumpet player, though. My point is that he is dedicated but is missing the motivating talent. The Slovenian singers look like they are really enjoying themselves so maybe their director has both dedication and motivation.
