For live performance here is what I do.
Bass hard left
Guitar/Piano hard right
Drums center
BIAB created solos or background strings, organ center
I do it this way because I have a a stereo Input on my Fender Passport and the R/L volumes (bass & guitar) Can be adjusted to suit the room.
