Thanks again. Mario, I tried that one, it is just a demo for their driver updater app, 90 days free, but it doesn't do UA-1A like it said.
Rharv, It is selected as the default device, and no, it doesn't work in SoundRecorder either.
I'm going to spring for a new USB-Audio box, and that will either tell me if it's a compatibility issue or not.
