If your first measure is in 3/4 time and your style is in 3/4 time you can get a 3/4 count in.
Are you sure that came out right, Mario? If the first measure is in 3/4 and the style is in 3/4, you don't have to do anything at all to get the correct count-in. Was one of those supposed to be 4/4? What about if there is a 4/4 song later? Is my advice above no longer correct? Thanks. It used to be, if I remembered correctly, that all styles had to start with 4/4 time. Am I wrong on that? My bad Matt, you are right. If you start in 3/4 time and later in the song change to 4/4/ time you stay in 3/4/ time though out the song. This is another of the time signature things that needs to be changed. I apologize to all for the confusion.
