Hey Charlie!
First of all, thanks for taking time to do this! I hoped you would! You have a unique story to tell, and I'm intrigued by the way you told it!
You took a completely different approach and led up to your use of BIAB by listing a bunch of other approaches to your music making that weren't nearly as good as BIAB. I thought that was clever.
I also liked the way you expanded the definition of BIAB. Its more than a product. Its also all the people who use the product, and who help one another in a variety of ways! BIAB is a musical community! That is a very profound observation, and I'm glad somebody made it!

Mighty fine... yes sir... mighty fine.
It brought a big smile to my face for sure.
You can find my music at: www.herbhartley.comAdd nothing that adds nothing to the music. You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both. The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.

Charlie,
Awesome testimonial!
Love the way you told your story... how your musical career progressed...and finally led you to BIAB. You made it seem like the way everyone should go. Your vocal delivery is SO comfortable. It was like listening to family at the dinner table. Which made it all so very believable. No hype. "No brag, just fact".
The images that you included along the way told a great story. It maintained my interest and attention the whole time.
The inclusion of other forum members was a nice touch. The variety of included music said SO much about the product without having to get bogged down in any technical aspects.
This is one of my favorites. I think it will convince many people to give BIAB a try.
Well done. Very well done!

Thanks for viewing. BIAB is all about the community family to me. If not for BIAB, you wouldn't have taken your tour nor would we have likely ever met. Mighty fine... yes sir... mighty fine.
It brought a big smile to my face for sure. I'm glad it did Herb. Your graciousness in helping with that project left quite an impression on me and I'll be forever grateful.

Thanks a lot for watching Floyd. I wasn't sure I could produce anything worthwhile with Windows Moviemaker as my only video production tool. After seeing all of the great videos posted before and maybe the others coming, mine seemed a bit underwhelming. I appreciate your kind remarks. Thanks for watching. Glad you liked it. Charlie,

Hi Charlie,
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to your story. It's quite a journey.
All the best, Noel Thanks Noel. It was a lot of fun recalling years of musical challenges, trials, risks and payoffs. It was hard parsing it down to a manageable time limit. Loved it from start to finish Charlie!
Your narration is so warm and friendly telling your journey in such an interesting way - loved the pictures and the way you put it all together. Thanks for watching. I've had lots of help all along the way and you and the BIAB family have been an integral part of it these last few years. I'm very grateful for your help with "From Me To You" and it was important to me to acknowledge your influence in my video. Charlie,
Nice testimonial. Not only does it highlight how the products have helped your music progress, it also demonstrates the helpful and giving nature of the forum members.
Very informative and entertaining. Thanks for watching. Of course, several times you are mentioned in the video for your helpful and giving nature as not only a forum member but my brother as well.

Man Charlie! That is a GREAT GREAT voice you have! You could really do narration as living! So down home, relaxing and cool! Bring back the old Disney movies!
Great story and man oh man that Gibson! Just like Jimmie Rivers plays on Brisbane bop! What a beauty!
Wishing you the best! Cheers, RG

Wishing you the best! Cheers, RG Wow Rodney, thanks for the nice comments. And I really appreciate you introducing me to Jimmie Rivers. I was not familiar with him at all. I looked him up on YouTube and listened to "Twin Guitar Special" and it sounded so much like my late Mother and late brother jamming together. The guitar tone from Jimmy Rivers playing and the steel guitar was instantly recognizable and familiar to what I heard my mom and brother play many times. My Mother passed away in 1967 and I have only one recording of her playing music. It's a very poor quality recording of her playing "Cotten Eyed Joe" with her sisters. I'm not sure exactly when it was recorded and don't know if she was playing the Gibson or not on that tune. Here's the link to the Antiques Roadshow site that will give you a bit more history of the guitar. Gibson Double Neck Guitar

I like that roadshow video Charlie...
And listening to your testimonial again in light of all the comments about your vocal quality... holy cow, they're right!
You should get an agent to hook you up with voice acting gigs for nature shows, history channel documentaries and everything else where a strong but comforting voice like yours would be perfect!

Very nice, I really enjoyed your story and history. I've had every piece of equipment you showed I think except that I couldn't put my hands on any of it now, trades, giveaways, whatever. I think that you did a wonderful job especially featuring other BIAB members. Well done, thanks for sharing this.

Hi Kenny and thanks for viewing and commenting. Most of that stuff is so worn out except for the guitar and Roland Sound Canvas Module. I play that Ventura acoustic guitar most every day and somehow the Roland was kept in the original box, used very lightly and is still basically in new condition. It's soon to find a new home with my brother though.
