Sounds to me like a sound application is not releasing the ASIO drivers for another sound application to use.

Often ASIO is a one dog master type of feature .. one program controls it, and if it doesn't release the drivers another program can't use it.

A hard boot would likely work better than soft (driver status may be held in memory)
However, this is not the best fix; correct settings for good ASIO drivers is much better.
Do you close the DAW completely before opening BiaB? This would likely help .. plus giving the system a couple seconds to fully 'release' the ASIO drivers.
