I was thinking kind of along the same lines; bad habit to get into and a good way to lose data/work. The fix is easy; stop doing that!  I trust Solidrock that it can happen, I'll take his word on it. I use hibernate (manually) all the time, but I save/close my work before doing so. I do not allow my system to go into Hibernate automatically. .. for friendship sake I'll go try it, but it'll be manual hibernate .. FWIW I did not get added measures after hibernate.
