This is good. Smooth jazz with Vox.... we don't get too much of that here.

The instrumentation is well done. Nice progression and the E-piano fits to perfection.

The nit for me is that the lead vocal doesn't quite fit properly. The EQ is off. Floyd mentioned it sounded to "crisp" and I would say... a bit harsh and edgy in places. But overall, the main vox has a "boxy" sound to it.

The BGV's were a nice surprise and actually were quite well done and impressive. Yeah... really nice..... in fact, I like the BGV the best of anything else in the song.

Heck, I'll go one further.... these are easily in the top 5 best BGV's ever, here in the PG forums, if not the BEST BGV's I've ever heard on this forum in any song.

The track is quite loud.... not really a problem, but do not feel that there is a need to push a track with the WAVES tools. Better to have a less loud really clean track. The listener can always turn it up.

Herb I really appreciate your assessment of my song and I dare say that I never expected to get this much attention my first time out. I think that we always look for the positive in what we do but it is to our best advantage to not ignore the negatives. The negative side is what makes us better and also gives us a reality check as to what we should be trying to accomplish. Thanks for listening and giving me your tips and I can assure you I will take what I have heard from you and others and try to correct what I am not doing. I am blown away with your bgv comment and I will let Daniel know also. Also thanks for the electric piano comment for I worked very hard to get that just right with the vibes.

Hi Sonny,

I enjoyed that a lot, Definitely a Bacharach and David feel with lovely harmonies.
And as the others have said great vocals

Very smooth,
