If it played something different for the 2nd chorus, then look at song settings. There should be a check box called "Vary style in middle choruses. This causes the style to select the "B" substyle on the middle choruses. Also, I didn't understand setting number of choruses to zero. It should be at least "one". The Windows version doesn't give you the choice of zero. Maybe the Mac version does; however, in BIAB, zero is usually used to say there is no change, which would put you back to the default of three choruses. If that box is checked, then the middle chorus would definitely sound differently.
