Matt Finley Veteran Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 25,954 Hudson Valley & Lake George NY	I have several Windows 10 PCs each with a Focusrite Scarlett (different models). I followed the instructions to download and install Windows 10 beta drivers but experienced some pops/crackles. Focusrite support directed me to roll back to version 1.8, which fixed the problems. Note that I never experienced "distortion" and if that's what you have, my suggestion is to 1) verify bit and sample rates and 2) verify what device is controlling the clock timing. In the Focusrite MixControl software, you can set the timing to Internal or to another digital device (if you have one, such as something connected to the Scarlett SP/DIF port. BIAB 2024 Win Audiophile. Software: Studio One 6.5 Pro, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6; Win 11 Home. Hardware: Intel i9, 32 Gb; Roland Integra-7, Presonus Studio 192, Presonus Faderport 8, Royer 121, Adam Sub8 & Neumann 120 monitors
