Yes, Geekbench, or Performance Monitor (both downloadable free) will help rule out the computer, and I suspect a problem because of your complaint about loading time.

Windows 10 should not affect BIAB. Also, this doesn't sound like a problem that reinstalling BIAB will fix. Just to be safe, though, within BIAB you should do Opt. menu, Return to Factory Settings.

Do you know for certain the Behringer external drive is good? And is it not full?

Your sound device could be the real culprit here, as it isn't finding an ASIO driver when you apparently think it should. I would never use the internal sound card. We need to know what sound device you have. Then we need to know what your settings for output are in BIAB.

It's fine to use MME with BIAB, although as you found out, latency with a real-time keyboard performance can be a problem. Again, this points to getting your sound device problem fixed. Did you check for Windows 10 drivers?
