Ciao a tutti, debutto su questo eccelente forum, afflitto da un problema che non mi permette di proseguire!
Ho da poco acquistato BiAB 2009, trovandolo un programma davvero spettacolare. Ma non riesco a capire come mai qualsiasi settaggio faccia sulla durata del "solo" RT (sax), suona sempre e solo sulle prime 30 misure!
Qualche buon anima sarebbe in grado di tirarmi fuori dal pantano, e suggerirmi il corretto modo per poter far durare il "solista" RT per quante misure voglio? Scusate la banalità della domanda, confidando nella vostra competenza e solidarietà!

Ciao Alex, Benvenuto e ... il tuo problema è sicuramente dovuto ad una qualche impostazione scorretta, cerchiamo di trovarla. Comincia col verificare una serie di regolazioni accessibili cliccando sull'Icona Solista, ad esempio quelle visualizzabili in questa immagine: Icona solista. Potresti dover sperimentare un bel po' se sono impostazioni che hai già ritoccato. Tieni presente che a mali estremi nel Menu Opz puoi selezionare Ripristina Configurazione di fabbrica per riportare l'aspetto e tutte le impostazioni del programma allo stato iniziale. Talvolta è la soluzione migliore se si smanetta molto. Se non riesci a risolvere facci sapere Sergio

Sergio sei stato davvero indispensabile e gentilissimo! Avevo intuito la cosa, ma la tua eloquente indicazione, ha risolto tutti dubbi. Sicuramente avrò ancora bisdogno in futuro di qualche altra "dritta". Sperando di non abusare troppo!

E rieccomi qua Sergio!!! Puntuale come un orologio svizzero! Adesso mi manca la cosa più importante: sapere come salvare una sequenza di accordi (ritornello) con il "solista real tracks"!
Mi spiego meglio.....ho creato 3 ritornelli, piazzandoci in mezzo un bel solo di: "Sax, Tenor, Jazz Sw" presente nella lista delle real tracks del programma. Ma quando lo salvo in wave, nella traccia non "suona" il sax "reale" che sento mentre gira il pezzo dopo la composizione, ma bensì un solista midi....ho provato in 1000 modi, sicuramente sfiorando la giusta via per ottenere ciò che volevo, ma nula....saresti in grado di darmi la formula magica per poter registrare un file wave o mp3 con il solista "real tracks"? Siccome sono parecchio "stordito" in materia, mi potresti indicare il percorso per poter salvare in wave?
Ho letto il manuale parecchie volte...ricerche nel web, ma non riesco a registrare il sax reale!
Tra il caldo e le mie domande da "matricola" spero di non tendere troppo la corda della tua pazienza!
Uno stra-grazie in anticipo...anche ase non otterrò una risposta!

Questa potrebbe essere un po' più complicata da risolvere, soprattutto perchè non mi è mai successo. Ti indico la procedura che adotto io al momento: 1) salvo il file di BiaB 2) clicco sull'icona .Wav3) confermo con gli appositi pulsanti Dietro a questo banale elenco naturalmente si nasconde un insieme di cosette da verificare, rispetto alle impostazioni di fabbrica però non c'è molto da modificare, al massimo nella scheda dei driver si potrebbe selezionare la casellina che permette l'utilizzo dei DXi Synth. In questa immagine puoi vedere un sunto della successione dei passaggi che effettuo io. Però il tutto è al momento riduttivo perchè il tuo problema potrebbe proprio dipendere da qualche impostazione della scheda driver, prova a verificare e se ti trovi in difficoltà ripristina il software alle impostazioni di fabbrica. io, per semplificare, faccio il mio pezzo in Biab e lo salvo, poi lo apro con RealBand, e lì inserisco una traccia di assolo RealTracks, dal punto esatto in cui mi serve, e posso farne tante su tracce diverse, poi scelgo quella che più mi piace. Così il controllo sulle tracce audio è molto più diretto, e non perdo mai l'arrangiamento ideale Biab.
Ma si può fare anche tutto solo in Biab, solo che è più difficile "vedere" ed eventualmente modificare le tracce.

Grazie Sergio...funziona alla perfezione. Infatti resettando le impostazioni di BIAB riesco ad ottenere la registrtazione del pezzo col solo RT inserito! Mi sei davvero stato di grande aiuto!Le tue indicazioni supportate dagli screen shott, sono state chiarissime e profique!Ho insegnato basso elettrico per 2 anni, e ritengo che la chiarezza sia la dote prioritaria per chi decide di trasmettere i dettami di questo fantastico universo chiamato: "musica"!
Grazie anche a te maurig! Ma non ho idea come si faccia ad inserire un solo con RealBand, non trovo l'icona "solista"..sarebbe davvero bello conoscere anche questo aspetto citato da te nell'intenzione di volermi aiutare, ma ti sei imbattuto in una brutta bestia... :-)!
Conosco davvero molto poco questo programma, ed è normale che anche passaggi che voi dater per scontato, quasi chiunque possa intuire, per me molte cose, sono ancora da imparare, malgrado BIAB, sia molto intuitivo come software!
Grazie per la solidarietà e la voglia di aiutare, che è fondamentale per infondere voglia di proseguire con questo "sublime" programma! Se esistesse una guida per principianti fatta sulla falsa riga dei vostri suggerimenti, sarebbe molto più facile e comodo per tutti quegli imbranati come me, che si approcciano a BIAB! Ma ritengo di chieder troppo.

mi fa piacere che tu abbia superato facilmente gli ostacoli incontrati finora.
Purtroppo non credo esista una guida per principianti come la intendi tu, almeno non in italiano. Nel web si possono trovare pagine in Inglese create da utilizzatori del software, alcuni con conoscenze molto profonde e danno suggerimenti o mettono a disposizione file più o meno interessanti.
Nelle scorse settimane mi è balenata l'idea di realizzare dei Video che forse rientrerebbero proprio nella classificazione elementari al massimo. Mi piacerebbe facilitare il più possibile i nuovi utilizzatori di Band-in-a-Box, ho riscontrato che il primo contatto con le funzioni più basilari è spesso traumatico e non pochi rischiano di "mollare" tutto subito per colpa di qualche banalità. Ceare un Video però, pur se elementare, non è semplicissimo e necessita di tempo, per ora mi sono fermato al primo, poi si vedrà.
Se riesci a masticare almeno un pochino d'inglese la cosa migliore e che ti consiglio calorosamente, è di visionare i Video messi a disposizione da PG Music.

Cmq, nel manuale c'è un capitolo, Quickstart o Avvio rapido, che è proprio inteso a dare una prima infarinatura di base a chi usa il programma per la prima volta.

Beh Sergio...grazie alle tue preziose indicazioni, ho superato il primo ostacolo di biab!
E' una cosa che ti darà sicuramente onore e lustro il fatto di adoperarti nella realizzazione, peraltro non facile, di un tutorial in italiano su come addentrarsi in questo fantastico software senza inciampare perdendo la voglia di proseguire. Sì con l'inglese me la cavo abbastanza bene, ho anche trovato su you-tube dei tutorial, che cmq risultano, a mio personale parere non chiarissimi circa le specifiche sugli enigmi necessari a risolvere i miei ovvi dubbi...anche se poi, devo aggiungere che l'inglese velocissimo della voce guida del filmato, risulta non sempre di facile lettura in termini di comprensione. Sì maurig, darò una più approfondita e attenta rilettura del manuale al capitolo: Quickstart o Avvio rapido.... ma credo che in futuro sarò ancora costretto a rompervi l'anima con le mie richieste, vs disponibilità permettendo. Che fino ad ora va oltre le mie aspettative, in termini di efficace supporto!

Ciao Alessandro, sei molto gentile, grazie. Ti consiglierei di mixare le 2 cose, manuale cartaceo e Video. Quest'ultimi anche se sparano un inglese da Formula 1 possono essere utilissimi anche solo per le immagini spesso chiarificatrici. Non serve farne una scorpacciata, ogni tanto dedicaci un po' di tempo e vedrai che qualcosa seminano sempre nelle tue conoscenze. Ho testato anch'io i video che si trovano su YouTube ma sinceramente ... lascerei perdere, quelli di PG Music credo siano gli unici da prendere seriamente in considerazione al momento, se non hai ancora provato a cercarli consulta queste pagine: Video Tutorial per Windows Video Tutorial per Macintosh Band-in-a-Box Tutorial Video Altri Video TutorialCiao Sergio

With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!
Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass.
