Worried Bout My Heart, Here's a track I made back around 1992 or 93. I used BIAB and Cubase on an Atari ST. All the sounds are from synth modules. Drums are Alesis and synths are Yamaha TXs and Roland Keyboard. I forget the model. All recording was done onto a Fostex 8 track, mixed down to another reel to reel using a Mackie 1604 board. The guitars are me playing my American Standard Tele and the Lead is a 52 Reissue Tele I had at the time. I recorded them direct using a Sansamp box. The effects are from Alesis Quadraverbs. I used an Orange Squeezer compressor on the guitars. I recorded the vocals using an AT 4050? I remember doing a lot of editing on the drum tracks. I remember at the time I thought it was awesome to be able to edit drum tracks that way. P.S. I wish I could remember what biab styles I used back then. lol Sorry for the long post, but I figured I' give as much detail as I can remember. I took this off a cassette tape, EQed and recorded it using Powertracks. I hope you enjoy this. Thanks, https://www.spreaker.com/user/8086734/worried-bout-my-heart

Another sweet jam!! You vocals are really good too. Reminded me a little of Jesse Colin Young on Ridgetop. For a recording that old, the quality is superb. A tasty blues treat indeed!!
P.S. Is the Mr. White tag based on Reservoir Dogs? Pic has that look. Keep posting! Take care. Greg

hahaha!, No I use this because I started posting using Wayne White on another forum and someone else had my name already. So I changed it to mister and it stuck. Too many people know by this on spreaker website, so I decided to keep it. When I took this name I hadn't seen Breaking Bad yet.

Thanks for the listen and the compliments. I wish I could still sing like that. I still play though. Again thank you,

Like Greg, I too thought this is a very good recording off such an old cassette. Great performance on the guitar and vocals. Looking forward to some more posts from you soon.

Hi Wayne,
you did a good job on the vocals and guitar. The recording quality is astounding as already said. By the way you'll get more replies if you only post one song at a time.

Thanks, Thanks for the advice. I just figured after I posted the track I just did, I would post some old stuff for a little background on what I used to sound like. I don't record my vocals anymore for various reasons. Again, thanks

Loved it. Nice playing.
Three's nothing about this that I don't like. Vox are crystal. Tele rips.
Considering that this is ripped from a cassette, nice.... since tapes tend to degrade with time by losing the high end.... nice job bringing it back to life. I have done that with a few of my tapes.... using the right tools can actually make the copy sound better than the original.
Looking forward to hearing some of your new stuff.... so get busy and write some new tunes.
Mr White.... what a smashing debut to the forums you are making here with these 2 songs.
And the bar gets raised a bit higher......
You can find my music at: www.herbhartley.comAdd nothing that adds nothing to the music. You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both. The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.

Thank you so much. The lead guitar was a 1952 reissue I had that sounded great. It wasn't the best instrument to play, but it had such a sweet sound. I had to sell that to cover some bills back then. I figure if I can keep a guitar for more than 5 years it's probably a keeper. My 1988 American Standard has been my goto since I got it. I took it on all my gigs when I had a PRS. The PRS I had never cut it onstage. My Tele worked in every situation. It's frets are worn, but I don't want to change the feel on it.

Hey Wayne it's shame that you won't be singing anymore for I really like your voice. You did say that you still play your guitar which I will be looking forward to hearing more of your talent. Great song! Super sound and vocals! I guess most of us older guys have been through the reel to reel days of recording and (ugh) cassettes. It's hard to believe what we have today. Keep bringing us more. Sonny
