Long time BIAB user. I haven't used a sequencer at all since the mid 90's. When I did, I used Cakewalk (pre Sonar). It was great and did what I needed. I've looked at Power tracks literature and can't find the answer to this question.

I am wanting to write some MIDI files to help students be able to hear playing on the beat, ahead of the beat and behind the beat. Also various timings on syncopated 1/8th notes. In Cakewalk I did this by being able to divide each beat into 120 subsections. I could move notes in time by that small amount. By playing that back at many different tempos, students learned to hear very subtle differences these timing things did to their pieces.

I currently need to do this again. Does Power Tracks have that kind of beat manipulation to let me do this?

Thanks in advance.
