Look for the word, "Audio" at the right end of the third row down on your screen. It's on the row starting with Master, Bass, ... Thru

Left-click on that word, Audio, to bring up the options. You can then Mute the audio, or Kill it (which means, delete it), and a couple of other options. I'm reasonably certain this was the same in version 2014 as it is now.
