Floyd nailed it with "the melody is outstanding!"
This is an an outstanding production in all
aspects, the mix, the RT choice, the write
and the vocals.
It sounds BIG on our monitors with a
nice stereo landscape.

This is SUCH a cool song! (and production and vocal!).
It is the place that Peter pointed out - and likely a combination of how hot the whole mix is and how it is coming across on my (computer) speakers... Since others are not mentioning it, I would guess it depends on where one is listening.
Again... not to take anything away from the song... it is SUPER!

Again... not to take anything away from the song... it is SUPER! Floyd, I went back to look at one more thing and I did find a couple of places inside one of the mastering plugins that clipped. After fixing it, I did another upload of the song. Would you mind listening to it again and let me know if that solved the problem. I never did hear it through my speakers and earphones. I keep coming back to this song for another listen.
You mentioned "A simple song that happens to be a true story"
Well, it may be true (that's great), but I don't think it's so 'simple'
This is a really amazing number. It's catchy and technically perfect because of a great balance between a mix of outstanding melody, lyrics and phrasing.
My only other comment is that the ending seems a little 'unexpected'. Maybe it could resolve a little more predicatively?
You definitely ought to explore other (additional) ways to publicize your talents. Air play maybe?

Thanks Trev, you have a much greater knowledge of the technicalities of music than I do and I always like to hear your comments to others as well as to me. As far as the ending, I am one who likes to sometimes not be predictable(not always) so as to just bring a little spice to a song (but that's just me). Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I have long given up trying to go the route of the big boys (so political and what they want is usually stuff that I am not interested in).
