Style picker window may be getting hidden behind the main screen.
Try clicking the RB icon in the toolbar to minimize RB, then click it again bring it back up and see if the style picker window pops to the forefront.
This can also happen if FP32.exe didn't close properly and you try to call it again. Check Task Manager for a process called FP32.exe and try ending process.. That's my bet too. If that's the case you might also try "ALT TAB" one or more times to cycle through any open windows. I'll bet the stylepicker will come forward when you do this.
