If you try the seq file think-
For midi you'll have to save the files as type 0 so they load as one track..
and use the "load scrap" feature to impot them. The trick to the load scrap is that once you 'open' the file it is on the clipboard, and you paste it into the track where you want it, in your case I'd paste them all at 1-1-0 so you can just hit rewind, pick a song and play
