No kidding? I never noticed that in the mixer. I've been doing it since before the GUI change and didn't see the new method. Cool. More than one way to deliver most things. I get amazed when I see different ways that others utilize various features. E.g., Since the new GUI came along I don't recall ever using the right-click on the track name to freeze a track. Nevertheless it's been there the whole time. Same result, just different delivery method. Maybe there'll even be MORE surprises soon, too!

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
