There are 4 formats of wma: Windows Media Audio, Windows Media Audio Professional,
Windows Media Audio Lossless, Windows Media Audio Voice.
Which one is used for Bandinabox Realtracks?

Standard Windows Media Audio from what I can tell.
However, one unique thing about PGMusic products is that whatever the system itself is set up to use can come into play. If you have Professional, it will likely use it (once the sound is on/in your computer). but for the included audio files I think they use regular WMA so they play on all systems.

Thank you, I'm asking because for years I've bought the wav audiophile hard disks. This year I have not enough money to pay it plus the import taxes and I think I'll buy the standard wmaversion.

I've been using the wma version for years and it sounds ok. Have a listen to some of my songs on Soundcloud (in my signature) if you want to get an idea of quality.

Sergino, I'm sure you know this, but just in case: BIAB looks for .WAV files and uses them if it finds them. If not, it uncompresses the .WMA files. This allows you to mix the two types in the program with no problem.

Great question. I was not aware there are multiple audio codecs to create and playback wma filetypes before I read the question. ++ HERE ++ is a pretty good Wiki article with some background information.
