JohnJohnJohn, it's my impression the upper portion of the window is the primary feature of Soundtrack. In that portion, everything is automatic and you choose the 'song' by opening that selection and there are generic themes and moods. The major benefit of the ability to choose demo's or other songs is for the times you have a specific song in mind for a project. The fact that these songs also can contain Realtracks makes it even better.

I haven't made any soundtracks of extended length but I think Soundtrack may also effect how the sgu files repeat or loop over extended periods. Yes, you can do what it does within BIAB manually, but it does it for you automatically. Note that it alters tempo to match the length of the desired audio clip. Manually, that would by done more by trial and error for most folks.

It's just a quick, easy way to generate a soundtrack for a project that in the case of the generic home movie adds a bit of spice and otherwise, it generates background audio for projects where the audio is not a major emphasis.
