When I click the <Display> button in the Preferences window the newly designed Display window opens fine on my Windows 7 desktop machine.

However, I am running Windows 10 on my notebook and when I click the <Display> button on my notebook nothing happens except the <OK> <Cancel> and <Help> buttons disappear and the Preferences window is frozen. If I press <Esc> or <Enter> quickly enough I can close the Preferences window but if I wait too long it remains frozen and I need to use the Task Manager to close the program.

My notebook is an Asus i7 with 8gb RAM and a 2gb Nvidia video card. The version of Windows 10 is the latest update.

I have installed the Version 426 update patch and have tried Return to Factory Settings but the problem persists.

I'm wondering if anyone else using Windows 10 has also encountered this problem.
