Short answer, no. XML is a file format that can be used by a number of other programs like MuseScore, a notation program that will print BiaB scores with chords. But SmartScore X2 is a program where you can scan sheet music and have it converted in MIDI tracks that you can input into BiaB/RB. http://www.musitek.com/smartscore-midi.htmlThere are other versions of SmartScore: http://www.musitek.com/I have not tried this so I have no experience with it. There are probably other such programs out there that I don't know about.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
