That's funny that Good Hearted Woman by Waylon was used as a style search.... some time back, I was searching for a style that was close to Waylon's 4 on the floor country beat/style..... I came up empty handed and ended up recording the project, a co-write with another Sonar user, as a no-BB song. It turned out good.

I'll need to look into that because another buddy wants me to record his original tune in my studio. I've let it set for several years now because I couldn't find a suitable style and, more importantly, he never got back with me to come and work on it even after reminding him a few times...... oh well....

It seemed that for a great while, everyone here in NC who was fancying themselves to be country song writers were all writing with that Waylon signature stomp style.

I think I still have my buddy's song on the DAW or the lappy.... thought I saw it the other day while searching for something else.
