With 2016, when I open a song with lyrics, they show up in the chord/sheet view. I had never experienced this and am not sure how to suppress it. Also, I notice that of a song has an intro, the lyrics start there, and don't match the tune anyway.
Anyone else experiencing this? I do not see a place in "preferences" and attempting to erase all lyrics had not effect.
I am guessing this is not "sticky." I do not see a layers option under "preferences." I can get rid of them each time I load a new tune, but it would be nice to have this preference persist. I already KNOW they lyrics... I just haven't memorized all the CHANGES !!
If you left-click on "Noel96" in the column on the left, and then select "View Profile", you'll find an email address.
Can you please send me one of the files that's creating an issue? I'll have a look at it and see if I can come up with some thoughts on how to approach what you're after.
None of the files I have with lyrics are behaving like you describe.
