Not a great answer but you may want to play around with your display settings. There maybe an interaction between the resolution of your monitor and the selected display setting.
I remember when the updated GUI was released in 2014 BiaB, some people had to play with their display settings or change the monitor resolution.
Give the man a Prize off the Top Shelf! It IS a great answer!
NOTE - this FIX works for my XP - can't vouch for any other OS, but gotta be worth a try.I have my monitor set to 1024 x 768 - I need CLARITY and to be able to see ALL my BIAB screen.
I went into "Display" on my computer's Control Panel and reset the Resolution from this to 1152 x 864. I opened BIAB2016 and sure enough the margins of the GUI have gone off screen - for instance the left hand bars - Bars 1, 5, 9, 13 etc etc have disappeared into the left hand desert somewhere.
HOWEVER - I was able (just) to get the "Display" icon on Options - Preference and using this screen res I was able to open it AND make the changes!!!!! Yee Haaaa!
So, I then went back to Control Panel and reset back to 1024 x 768.
I guess this is just a Workaround until Mr Gannon and his Top Team get a Fix in - but maybe others with this Issue can try Jims suggested fix - and report back.
Many thanks, Jim
Ian
PS - IF I kept the higher res, is there a way I can RE-SIZE the desktop GUI so that it once more fits the screen?? At the moment, on anything other than 1024 x 768, too much falls off the screen. IS there a way to "re-compress the BIAB screen??
