CH, nice job, but in jazz, don't try to read the dots exactly as they are written. Read them, and then make them your own as you deliver them. Give them your own 'stamp'. Loosen up more, swing with the tune.

I sensed you were doing that more as the song progressed, but the start was really rigid, if you know what I mean.

Keep at it, for sure. You're well on the way, and you can't get a better band to work with (even the drummer keeps time!)
