OK, I opened some songs from last year (BIAB version 2015), and the trumpet melody audio is all of a sudden, not in the right key. So I tried everything I've known to transpose just the tracks (semitones etc;). So far, all tracks "transpose". I can't seem to keep the trumpet audio right where it is, and then transpose ONLY the accompaniment. Thanks, Matt. JZ

Well I think you only want to transpose what's on the Audio Track
Presumably your Trumpet is on the Audio Track. If you change the key of the whole song, you should be able to also adjust the Audio afterwards to correct. You may need to experiment.

Although you can transpose audio, I really try hard not to do that because artifacts can be introduced.
Maybe rename the trumpet audio file temporarily, load and change pitch on the other tracks, save that, and then rename the audio file back to its original file name? This makes use of the fact that the audio and BIAB song name must match. It also assumes you already have the trumpet recording in the correct key but the rest of the tracks don't match that key.

That is exactly right, Matt. Changing the key even 1 semitone can adversely affect the trumpet audio. I know that because Lawrence Welk thought the same thing happended when one of the "poys in da pand", didn't do enough Geritol!
OK. Here's the remedy. You select (with your mouse) the bars you want to transpose then go to "transpose" and select the amount of semitones. It then transposes all the selected bars. Audio however is not affected. It stays in its original key.
